It depends on what you mean by "work". Images you have edited with this program reside in a folder of your own choice on your old PC. Whenever you get a new PC you should backup the old one and copy your image files to the new PC. If you have defined some Effects as Favorites in SPE, you cannot unfortunately transfer them to a new installation on a new computer, so you might want to make a note of them so you can re-define them as favorites in the new installation.
