No file menu

Reading through this forum I noticed some others have this problem. No File Menu.....When I click on the SPE , the window opens up with a box for 'load image'. Picture loads,and I have no problem working with the image in the program. When it time to save the final work, that's where I have the problem. No file menu. On the upper left hand corner is only the 'undo/redo/pan-zoom buttons. I use Ctrl+S to save the picture but I'm sure 'file menu' has more to offer. I haven't noticed any fix for this or I missed it. Any solution to this problem? I have a pc windows 7. Outside of the file problem, I really enjoy this program.

Hello earmentrout,
I've already replied to your support ticket, but if anyone else is experiencing the same issue, here's the fix.
This issue has affected another user and we believe the cause to be having the Smart Photo Editor application running whilst installing the new version. To fix the issue you're having, you'll have to completely uninstall and reinstall Smart Photo Editor. To do this follow these steps:
1. Go to Control Panel> Programs and uninstall SPE.
2. Go to http://www.smartphotoeditor.com/licenses/ and enter your activation code.
3. Here you'll have the latest installer, simply run that as usual and activate when prompted.
This should get SPE back to its correct functioning state.
EDIT: This fix will only rectify the issue for a small number of users. The issue has been resolved and the fix will be in the next release.

This issue is now resolved and the fix should be in the next release.
If it is currently affecting you, the menu can still be accessed using Alt+F/E/C/H or by hovering over Pan/Zoom until a small square appears.
