Time taken to save changes

Why does it take so long for Smart Photo Editor to save changes to a photograph I have edited? I have been getting more and more frustrated with it an yesterday actually decided to time it. It is taking an average of 4 to 6 minutes to save a file! Sometimes longer. Is there anything I can do to speed it up?

Hi Lizelmont,
There are certain effects that take a long time to render because they are very complex. The ones that take the most time are the ones with a Denoise node in them which make the image smoother, which are mainly smoothing effects by Tom. The vast majority of effects are very quick, but it sounds like you've hit on one of the ones that is complex.
