Failed to Update Search Engine
Went ahead and bought this software today (11-12-2012)
When I try to Update Galleries -- I get an error message as follows:
Failed to Update Search Engine
Installation doesn't match user id (then a big long number)
What can I do to fix this problem so that I can update the galleries in the future ?
Thanks in Advance

Re: Failed to Update Search Engine
Hi Art,
That is an unusual problem. We were having server problems yesterday so it might be fixed today. However, it doesn't sound like that's the problem, it sounds like something has messed up your registry settings. If it doesn't work today, then try this (PC instructions follow, if you're on a Mac, let me know):
This will reset all your Photo Editor information like recent files and favourites.
Close all instances of Photo Editor
Run regedit.exe by searching for it in the windows start menu.
Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Anthropics
Delete the level inside Anthropics called "Photo Editor".
Next time you run Photo Editor, you can reconnect to your dgang26 account.
Let me know if that doesn't fix it, or you'd like more help,
Tony

Re: Failed to Update Search Engine
Tony -- that seems to have solved the issue !
When I reconnected to my account -- it tried to do the update -- and it was successfull -- at least I did not get the error message this time.
Thank you so much for your quick reply -- I really appreciate it !
