PET EYE

Postby cherylboo » Sat Mar 02, 2013 9:59 pm

Hi,

Could you perhaps tell me if there is editing or removal for pets eye, white, green or whatever colour happens to appear?

Many thanks for your help :)

Hi Cheryl,

For most colours, the red eye removal tool should work well. For white however, you could try selecting the area which you want to darken, in the Area Treatment tool, then use the sliders to darken the area. I'd use the Airbrush to select the area in this case.

Hi Tony,

Thanks very much. I'm going to try that on the animal's eyes. Just one more question, while I'm nagging, is there a way to put a natural looking glint in a bird's or person's eye at all?

Many thanks again,

Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,

In SPE, the quickest way to do that would be to use the composite tool to composite in a reflection picture. If you have a picture which is black with a few bright points in it, and change the blending mode to "add", that should work well.

You might want to look at our other software: Portrait Professional, which includes reflections in the eye as well as a lot of other portrait specific enhancements.
