Dear Weskemkoon,
I'm really sorry to hear that. We store all the favorite data in the system registry on a PC or plists on a mac, which are the standard ways of saving user information. The most common way people accidentally loose that is by uninstalling the software. If you can remember the name of the effect, you can search for it in the gallery using the search box in the top right. We don't have an effect called Oval magic vignette, but there is one called Magic Vignette.
