Delete images

How do you delete photos that are on the FILE MENU (Recent Files) and are numbered 1-????. I just received this software and cannot find how you delete these non-significant images and they keep adding up. Seems like there would be a way to delete these photo's that you do not want...Thanks for your help!

They are not images, just links to recently opened files so you can access them again easily. They take up no space on your computer. If you don't like that feature, you can change the number in File > Settings > Number of files in recent file list.
