Front page changed

Postby raewynmurray » Mon Oct 29, 2012 11:33 pm

On the front page I pulled up a photograph. Went to the editing button at the top and all different options came up (many pictures). Before it was only the one picture and the editing was up the top showing the different variations. How can I get it back to that. This is my first time using it. Many thanks. Raewyn

Hi Raewyn,

You are talking about the two different views of the gallery that we call "Grid View" (where you see lots of pictures equally sized) and "Detail View" (where one of them is big but you can switch between them by clicking on the tabs at the top). To go into detail view for one picture you just click on it. To go back to the grid, click on the "Grid View" button on the screen. The View menu also has options for switching views.

Is there a way to keep Detail view as the default? Also, is there a way to keep the Effects menus expanded as default? When I go from the grid view to detail view, the menus collapse until I click on refine your search. I really much prefer for them to stay open.

Hi all,

I'm afraid that currently there's no way to change the default, but it sounds like something worth adding to the settings panel.
