Select Area - Halo Elimination
Hi,
I have used the Select Area facility a lot. However I want to know if there's a tool or technique that can reduce or eliminate the 'halo' effect that can result. This being a distinct border between the selected and unselected area. I know in Photoshop this is a problem and there are techniques for eliminating it. And I am SURE I saw an option somewhere in SPE to help with this (or maybe it was offered by an effect). Can anyone help?

Re: Select Area - Halo Elimination
There is halo removal, but only in the composite module. It's the button that looks like a red glow, with diagonal line through it. Removing halos from effects depends on the effect a lot, but one piece of advice I can give is to go over the edge more than once with the soft edge finder brush, once the effect is applied and that might improve it.

Thanks Tony, that's where I must have seen the button.
I have a related question but will raise a new topic.
