Effects moved/lost

The effects are not always listed in the same order and sometimes the effects disappear or are not listed as they were previously. Anyone any ideas?

The effects list is constantly being updated by our users. Popular ones float to the top, less good ones go to later pages (just like a google search), the idea is that we are trying to show you the best possible effects first in the gallery. In addition if you have the tickbox "This Image" ticked, the gallery is optimised to show you effects that will work best on your picture. There are a couple of ways of finding effects again. The best is to use the favorites tool on the right, which lists any effects you've used or shortlisted. Also if you remember the name or author of an effect you like you can type it into the search box in the top right of the gallery. Hope that helps.
