A little help with my Ladybird?
Hi
I am a new user of Smart Photo Editor, and have really been enjoying it....so easy to follow and amazing effects.
what i wanted to know is.....i have taken a photo of a ladybird sitting centre point of a dead thistle, can i make the background black/white but keep her red or vice versa?
Do you understand what i mean....have seen this done with a photo before...looks good.

Load in your picture.
Goto effects gallery choose the desired effect in your case look under color - Black and white. this will show preview for whole image.
Confirm the one that suits you.
Then click on mask left column and select erase from selection and mask off the area you do not want to be B/W
You can do thius for any effect in the gallerey!

Hi Wendy,
Please do post any results you have, we'd love to see them. If you're proud of what you've done and you want general feedback, then you could post a picture in the "show us your results" forum. If you want help/feedback on this in particular, then post it in this thread.

To upload a photo, reply to this message, then look undeneath the place where you type in your reply and you'll see two tabs: "Options" and "Upload attachment", choose the second tab and you should be able to upload a picture, then submit your message. I guess I'll see if it doesn't work!

Re: A little help with my Ladybird?
Right.... i can see this has to be re-sized first? will get there in the end!
Re: A little help with my Ladybird?
You don't have to resize it, we can still scroll around it. Very nice by the way. If you want to resize it, there are resizing options when you save the file in SPE.
