HELP TO LOAD IMAGES

I have been trying to use this progrm with no result. How does one load an image to edit?
The tutorial image is loaded for me and shows the effects but does not show me how to load my own image.

Click on the File menu in the top left of the window, then select "Open...". Does that answer your question?
