Ardentinny
Another of my favourite haunts, Ardentinny picnic area is a very well maintained and popular tourist attraction on the shores of Loch Long.
It's just opposite the Coulport Navy Base with its stock of Trident nuclear weapons!!
Nice but scary.

Re: Ardentinny
Can smell the broom in this lovely photograph. I'm pretty sure that, as you suggested, our travels have been similar within Scotland (and many of our beautiful islands too in my instance - maybe you too). My brother's first charge as a minister was in Dunoon, so I know this area quite a bit. I had never been down as far as Tighnabruaich until this year, although I had been on Bute and stayed in Rothesay as a child (over 60 years ago).
Nice to see your photographs of Scotland.
Cheers,
Andrew
