Sandstorm at the moon is a composite edit with a base photo found on the internet (link)

I've only used SPE to achieve this result (except from the animated gif, which I used PhotoScape for..)

03 B&W Detail Extractor
04 Composite (Blue Earth)
05 Enhance Sky - Cosmic (mask)
06 Enhance - Clouds #1
07 Dramatic Dark Landscape
08 Enhance Sunsets (by using the Selection Creator V2 - Linear, effect that gives you a top and bottem gradient selection in return)
09 Soft B&W (by using a new Selection Creator V2 - Linear, effect that gives you a top and bottem gradient selection in return)
10 Contrast Vignette
