Trying to upload picture

I am trying to upload a picture, but it keeps telling me the file is too big. When I try a different picture, it tells me the same thing. Are all my pictures going to be too big? Do I need to do something else to them before trying to upload? Please help!!

This forum has limits to the size of the picture you can upload, but I've just increased the file size that you can have as an attachment. However, I recommend you upload screen size pictures otherwise they are difficult to view on the forum. If you want to save a screen size picture out of Smart Photo Editor for the forum, choose "Save As Jpeg or Tiff" from the file menu, and on the next dialog, choose "1024 wide" from the presets drop down. They should fit nicely on most people's screens.
