I am new to the site and to Smart Photo, I know that I have no clue to what I'm doing but mainly through trial and error so far, this is what I
have created with my photos. I am excited to be here and from what I have seen, there are some very amazing effects to experiment with.

Hi Jacqueline.
You'll probably shoot me for working a little on your picture, but you wanted comments.
You are doing great! I liked everything except the right-side sky and some water showed too blotchy. I was thinking, "How would I treat that using SPE?". The fifth tutorial shows how to blur or change a background, so that's what I did.
I put your picture in SPE, went to "Select Area" in the "Apply Effects"and chose "SKY". Then it gave me a brush to select the sky area (painted the sky horizon thru the trees with soft-brush and clicked on paint bucket to include all the sky). I then clicked on Effects Gallery and effects showed in gallery for the sky. I clicked on the first one named Blur. Then I used the slider/s with Blur Effect to get the blur that seemed reasonable to knock out the blotchiness. Then (and this is important) I selected CONFIRM. Then I clicked on the right-most tag at top right showing the black/white mask. Then I went to the working-area picture and found I had to use the brush again, but selected the button to erase from selection because the tops of the trees were also blurred, and painting over them brought the tree tops back to their original sharpness.
By this time, things were looking pretty good except for the water. I then clicked on the button to "Add to Selection" (top left of screen) and painted on the water wherever it looked too blotchy. Then I saved it, and am writing you. Please forgive me, if I did any harm, but I'm just trying to help. I THINK YOUR PICTURES ARE BEAUTIFUL.
