Lovely abstract feel to this interesting image - minimalist qualities & bold color blocks. Texture, I'm not sure about - I think in this instance I would have preferred the image to be flattened to accentuate the color blocks. None-the-less, another wonderful High Quality Image with much to learn from. I will take a lot away from this viewing - use of block color, minimalism & abstraction - but not at the expense of reality!

Intriguing!

Cheers,

Andrew

PS. By the way - the Colors are FABULOUS!

Good morning Andrew ( well here anyway :)

Thank you for your constructive criticism, it's always helpful to have a set of fresh eyes. At second glance now the texture used here does seem a little overwhelming & I'm glad that you not only just pointed it out but you justifiably explained how it affected the final image.

Best Regards,
Pierre

I am still in the learning stages with Smart Photo Edit. I find your photo very unique and mesmerizing. The colors add greatly to the overall contrast of the picture and the color tone of her hands enchance the human touch in the photo.

I know to some, I am probably beginning to sound like a broken record, but I wish the photographers/artists would add the before pictures to help us newbies in really seeing and appreciating their work. Great photo petedubeau, did you subject know the picture was being taken.

Thanks Eestubbs, your positive feedback is always very much appreciated. Your determination to excel and learn will really pay off !
As far as the original I'll have to backtrack searching in my folders to find out where exactly this particular unprocessed file is.

Have a great weekend !
Pierre
