Inversion and Mask

One of those photos that was just OK. Ran it through SPE, Voila,

Composite used for Background, lingerie Area Select and inverted from neon effect. Face masked to keep it reversed from the models body and lingerie. I think? LOL

This was an experiment and I didn't keep notes. It's kinda like the difference between giving someone driving directions vs just driving there yourself.

Hope everyone had a good holiday season. I am glad it is over so I can get back to ART!

Great. First picture of the New Year. You beat me to it. It would be great if SPE somehow record a log of everything you do. I know the answer is to keep the original project file but I, personally, don't do this unless I KNOW this is going to be a good picture. Often you don't realise what you've created until sometime afterwards and after repeated viewings.

Like to see how the reddish background color comes back in the eyebrows and lips and how you keep the head out of the masked area, it's well balanced and I think its great to hang on a wall!

Arwin, the redish color was the last step and washed over the darks, thus; allowing the hint of red on the lips, eyebrows, etc.

There is a lot of forethought that goes into the order of effects. I like to use Old Postcard occasionally but before I get to that I make the image lighter than usual because it will make the overall image too dark. Sometimes that is OK.
