Demonstration of SPE Effects
Here I've taken an Stock Image from http://www.3d.sk (used under commercial licence) and show the original image cropped with the background removed to white (image 1).
Next step was to use Redfield's 'Fine Touch' plugin (freeware) to simplify the image and soften it - further work was done using layers to blend Redfield's Fractalius effect with the result from the Fine Touch plugin. Further tweeks were carried out using standard photoshop tools. This stage was carried out in Photoshop Elements 11 - you can do similar (but not exactly the same) in SPE by using 'Watercolor Vectors' by Penningtons7 and applying a sketch type effect (image 2)
The composite image (image 3) shows a variety of SPE effects applied to image 2. Too many effects to remember!
I made a few hundred examples of what can be done - these are just a few. Sometimes I used the 'New Montage' feature, likewise the 'Composite' feature to play with backgrounds.
I used many of my own contributions, some of Texan, some of Arwin and others. Many of the result are from the application of mutliple effects.
Hope you find this useful.
Cheers,
Andrew

Re: Demonstration of SPE Effects
That looks great! You could even do that whole montage as an effect.

Hi Everyone,
I'm glad this was submitted by andrewb2012 ! The effects remind me of looking for sub-effects from a higher category--call it a mini-sub-effect gallery. This could be an expanded (or narrowed down).
