A Favorite Picture Painted and Bordered with Text
Hi,
Here is last weeks favorite holiday picture with grandson and girlfriend on Catalina Island. Painted in Dynamic Auto Painter, framed and texted in SPE, finished for web with Picturesque.

PS Just inserted a smaller file so it's easier to read by most.

I really like everything you did with this photo.

Hi eadams,
Thank you for your very nice comment; also, glad to see you back on the forum--I like to talk and discuss things--another way of communicating that is so important for the information age, and just being human. I was just thinking about what I just said--talking is so important--keeping silent is appropriate at times, but being open minded and letting out our thoughts brings more friendly relations and lets our world understand each other faster and hopefully bring peace and happiness. Ah, that's too much to say here. It's just that I love everybody and want good things for all.
BYW, have you been working on a program or artwork that you want to show? or talk about?
Speaking of programs, the last application I used to finish the above picture was "Picturesque". I believe it's Mac only, not much money, $15 bucks, does only 5 things to finish your pictures for web, but is one of the most popular programs for several years--a 4.5 mice out of 5 by several sources. It's also a lot of fun. I ran into it when buying some "hand drawn elements' on sale from Massivelements.com.

I haven't heard of Picturesque, but if it is Mac only I can't try it. I haven't bought Dynamic Auto Painter yet, but I think it does a splendid job rendering realistic looking painterly effects, so I think I will eventually. I have some photos I want to play with and I'll be glad to share the results when I'm finished.
