Composite
Today I went to shoot some photos. Usually it is difficult to get great background colors with the morning haze and light. What I did today is, after getting most of my pictures, I did also take photos of the sky. I did enhance the pictures of the sky the way I wanted these to be and created a composite with the pelicans I photographed and selected the background images I made the same day.
This is most likely easier than playing with the subject AND background at once.

Re: Composite
Yes my friend - exactly the way I would work as I prefer generally to use my own backgrounds - although, many of the sky effects were contributed by me anyway.
Nice work with rich colors and beautifully captured subject. Great masking!
Cheers,
Andrew

Re: Composite
thanks - today was a great day as we had a dozen of Pelicans diving into the ocean getting some fish for breakfast. I am still going through the material and with SPE it makes it easier to enhance photos quickly (this is for those who are undecided if they want to buy SPE or not) -
