Small Tortoiseshell
I cannot recall if I ever got to include this image. I've not been very well of late and am now struggling with my sight in one eye. I have also moved from a soaking wet Somerset to Lincolnshire; settling in a charming village; Nocton to be precise.
I've some super kit which I bought about a year or so ago and have a miserly shutter count of two hundred. It is a Canon 6D with some L series prime lenses. Sadly with everything going on I've not taken many pictures. This one I used several SPE effects for, including detail enhancement on the B'fly to better see him/her finishing off with Topaz and Photoshop. If you can only see half the image just click on it and it opens up.

Lovely photo. I'm not far from you and it must be wetter than Somerset today!

Mozzy!
Hope you're doing well soon, nothing so bad for a visual artist to have problems with their eyes.. (although it's something you would not want to wish for anyone)
But this butterfly creations of yours is a beauty!
Thanks for sharing!

Hello Mozzy,
I'm really sorry to hear of your eyesight problems and can empathise as I have the sight of only one eye and it gets terribly strained when driving, taking photos and using the computer. But, I don't plan on stopping doing any of those three things - far too exciting.
I love your butterfly image and the treatment you have given it. A great macro shot!
All the best and take care.
Anne.
