The Show Must Go On...
Hi Folks,
Although I have announced an end to my effect contributions, I still want to share images showing Smart Photo Editor in action - to this end I made up a little graphic of three girl backpackers, turning two of them into shadow-like figures and created a combined mirror image. I used a variety of techniques to develop a few versions of the same basic image - this was done in Photoshop Elements 11 by applying a number of plugins from Redfield, Topaz and others. The images were then transformed in Smart Photo Editor and, generally, borders were applied. Finally, the shadow borders were applied in Photoscape as was the combined vertical image which was resized to suit the Forum. For me the exercise was simply a BIT OF FUN, but I hope you find a little inspiration to try similar for yourself - good luck! Have a look at eadams post 'Smart Photo Editor for Kids' for more inspiration - it was from this post came mine - so a big thanks to Eve and her very talented 4-year-old grandson.
You may or may not like these particular images - that's not important, but I do hope you see some possibilities for yourself. Note, I've not told you which effects I've used deliberately to encourage you to experiment and explore the effects for yourself.
Thanks again for the inspiration Eve/Grandson!
Hope you ENJOY!

I love them all! As always with a series of images you post, I can't decide which is my favorite! I hope you continue to post samples of your artwork. They are a great inspiration!

Thanks Eve & Arwin for your encouraging comments.
Sorry for the long time in replying - I've been taking 'time out'.
Last year saw the birth of three more grandchildren - Darach, Ela and Ewan. Ewan arrived on the 24 December at about 5.30 pm - Anne & I now have five grandchildren - Myla and Amelie being the other two. So my life has changed dramatically - never thought my life would be so demanding as I head quickly towards 70, but hey ho! It is great to see them all develop right in front of my very (dim) eyes!
Best wishes for 2015!
