Re: Shaggy
I agree, great picture.
It reminds me of a conflict I have when using SPE. We all know that a physical picture can be transformed by a carefully chosen frame and mounting board. It's for this reason I have no problem in paying a lot of money for a frame for those special pictures I want to hang on the wall. And the same applies in SPE (or any other post processing software). Some of my photos take on another life if I apply a frame in SPE. And that brings me to the conflict. If the photo was mounted on a wall you'd need to remove the SPE frame. Would it look as good? If the photo goes in a book you surely would drop the frame. Would it look so good? So should I avoid frames altogether in SPE and the like? I think it's a different debate to the question of post-processing versus 'out of the camera'.
But the photo in this example is brilliant and would stand up without the frame!

I know what you mean about applying frames. If I intend to mount the image I do not add a frame to it but if I am posting to social media, I often do.
However I often use the programme to enhance the YouTube thumbnails that I use when optimising videos for Google searches.
