Compart - Brick Wall
The photo 'Brick Wall':
I mirrored horizontally the original photo by using any photo editing tool and reduced the photo size to fit in the upper right corner of the wall of the original photo, in this case 911x1366px.
After that I enlarged the canvas back to the original size, in this case 1366x2048px (keeping the image in the upper right corner), background white.
In SPE I used the filter 'Brick Wall by superdave' on this edited image and saved the image as tiff/jpg.
Than I opened the original photo again and aplied the same filter 'Brick Wall by superdave' on this photo.
When done I added the resized image with the enlarged canvas as underlayer to this photo and used the brush 'add to selection' to let the resized image appear in the upper right corner of this photo.
Again added an another underlayer to this image, in this case the original photo without any filters and use the brush 'add to selection' to let the 'untouched' lady (and the sidewalk where she stands on) appear in the photo.
As final I used the filter 'Sharpen by Tony' on this image to makes this photo 'ready'
Of course you can play with other filters and/or blend other images in the wall of the original photo as the other examples explain.
Hope this was helpful in the 'how to's' or just inspiring!
If you have any suggestions or questions, just feel free to do so
