Just a bit of FUN!
Fully processed in SPE - variety of effects (mine & others) plus a new trial effect superimposing a moon. Think I'll try some combination effects that include the addition of a moon (for example) then changes the image into a eerie night-time one. There seems to be a demand for scary/eerie images so I think I'll test a few before making them live. Anyway, this image is from one of my trials and I offer just as a bit of FUN whilst testing reactions - would appreciate your feedback. This is the kind of single effect I'm trying to create with the option of moving the moon (or object) and perhaps altering hue etc.

Keep forgetting - just remembered that people like to see the original image - so here it is (just a throw away image that I've used to create the FUN image above):

Here is a variation - I quite like this - the effect I applied to my first image is Superdave's wonderful 'Sixties border' effect:

So many possibilities exist - here is my first image with another of my effects applied - this one is called 'Fishing boat texture 0094'. I carried out a bleach bypass & applied the border in Zoner Photo Studio 16 X 64 (Free Edition).

All good really; trouble is the changes you can actually make are almost limitless.

Re: Just a bit of FUN!
Thanks Mozzy,
Totally agree - in fact sometimes it all becomes a bit overpowering. But I'm sure like me you will have favourite effects that you tend to use more often or return to every now and then. It is very easy to get distracted with all the available effects. I tend to use other photo editors for normal photo enhancement and my great love of Smart Photo Editor comes from the fact that it is so good for photo-art and for making good poor original images.
SPE is a BRILLIANT program but it still lacks many functions found in other software such as digital painting/drawing etc.
For a lot of my images, not shown here, I use a lot of plugins and currently these are not supported in SPE.
My view is that I would rather SPE excells at what it does best & constantly develops that, rather than become a singing-all-dancing program that falls short of excellence.
Kind regards,
Andrew
