Dragonfly
I am full of admiration for those of you who produce great albums of beautiful pictures.
I'm working on my future submission, but in the meantime here's a photo of a dragonfly (with an "art" version too!).
This type of picture is unusual for me, I tend to specialise in land, sky, and seascapes.
I was photographing an old ruin (no, not a selfie!!) when I was surrounded by a cloud of these beautiful creatures.
Taken with my standard lens, this is quite a big enlargement so its not as sharp as I would like. My telephoto lens is better for macro or close-up shots.
Cheers,
Angus

Re: Dragonfly
Thanks e,
It was an almost magical experience, I found it difficult to hold my camera steady enough to take the shot.
Regards,
A

Re: Dragonfly
Hi Angus,
Well captured dragonfly, especially as you took the image without pre-planning. Lovely colours - probably like the original better than the arty image, but both are lovely to view.
Have a good day!
