SPE + www.panosfx.com Cartoon & Pop Art Actions
Although I constantly use SPE as a 'Stand-Alone' program, I also use it as a plugin within Photoshop Elements (13) along with other 3rd party plugins and actions. Recently I posted images of Padstow in Cornwall (England) which had the appearance of watercolour paintings with ink outlines. These were wholly created in Smart Photo Editor using multiple techniques including using the Composite feature to create the illusion of watercolour.
Here is a more comedic set of results which were created in Photoshop Elements 13 using a combination of the Smart Photo Editor Plugin and the beautiful set of Photoshop Actions from https://www.panosfx.com called Cartoon & Pop Art Actions. Compare the results from my previous post mentioned and you will see similarities in results but also differences. My original submission offers a much more authentic watercolour result, but using the Cartoon & Pop Art Actions in combination with the SPE Plugin offers exciting and FUNKY results.
The images used were taken in my back garden - little segments of things - nothing worth looking at in themselves, but I know the leaves, plants and shrubbery all look good when using the Cartoon & Pop Art Action Set. There is a lot of images to look at, as I wanted you to see the possibilities that exist using SPE in combination with other resources.
