Why Are The Colors So Garish?
I like the more graphic effects like the Cartoon Like effect but the colors are so limited and garish. Everything starts off as orange and then cycles through lime green and purple before going back to orange again. How do you get more subtle colors?

Hello tommyrey,
You can either edit an existing effect using the Effect Editor (e.g. add a Hue Saturation Brightness node to the effect and tone down the saturation/vibrance) or you can add another existing effect to your image on top of the cartoon one that makes the colors less garish. I never add only one effect to an image - it is the combination of different effects that make each image unique. You can also merge two or more existing effects into a new effect and save it to your computer for future use.
There are very easy to understand tutorials in the "Creating Effects" section of the forum.
