Softening edges - help!
I have a photo of my step daughter which had a flat, boring sky. I used the sky editor function to alter the background, but the edges of my step daughter's hair look a little sharp and gritty and could do with softening to blend better into the photo. Is it possible to do this on SPE, and if so how?
Help appreciated

Re: Softening edges - help!
Hi Wendy M,
Yes, I think there's a couple of things you could try. Firstly, to edit the selection click on the black and white version of the selection that appears in the tab at the top of the software. This will allow you to adjust the selection. One thing you could try is just going round the edge of her hair with the "Find Soft Edge" brush, which will further refine the selection around her hair. If that doesn't do enough, you could try the airbrush with a small size and going round the edge of her hair with that. You have to be quite careful with that brush as it's easy to eat into her head too much. If you make a mistake, don't worry you can just Undo it.
Let me know if you'd like any more help.
