a small black or white border without effects

Would love to have a thin white or black border that stands alone. ie. without an effect on the photo. The black and white simple borders are too wide with small images. thanks.

I realize that I could use the simple borders and then crop, but I'm thinking more along the line of a white border less than half the width of the simple white with a black hairline edge. There is one but it puts an effect on the photo and I don't want that.

You can use the padded area slider to control the size of the border.
