red items in a black and white shot
hi does anyone know how to get red items in a black and white shot, a flower for example
Re: red items in a black and white shot
Hi,
I assume your original shot is in colour and you want to make part of it black and white.
+ Choose Select Area
+ Pick background from the list.
+ You are going to try and select everything but the flower: Draw the brush around the outside of the flower
+ When you've gone all the way round with no holes, two fill buckets should appear that you can use to fill in the rest of the background
+ Press Confirm Selection And Browse Effects
+ Choose Black and White from the colour menu
+ Pick a black and white effect
That will make your photo mainly black and white. If you want to increase the vibrance of the flower afterwards, just pick Image Treatment, then use the vibrance or saturation sliders.
