Are you kidding me? This was a popular 1940's era artistic effect common for calendars and many other applications. Also requested even today

I looked it up and think I know what you mean now. I have never discovered anything like that in SPE. I think you would have to make several area selections and treat each area separately. You might get a satisfactory result, but I think it would mean a lot of manual work.

Yes it is quite a lot of work. That is why I was hoping there was an action or effect in your software.

A few days ago I read this post and did some research about this kind of effect.
currently I've 3 effects ready but I like to know if this is what you had in mind, as possibilities are endless
