Crofton HDR? Sliimer band please.

I'm neither clever enough nor capable of creating my own stuff. I use Crofton HDR quite a bit, but rely on my images fitting within the vignette element. There is no option for masking on this one. Is it all possible to have the Crofton but with less of an intrusion to the image used? I hope that makes sense.
