lightening greenery

I am trying to lighten up the greenery. When I do and save it. It prints out the same way without the effect?

Is it possible you are saving it as a session and not as a jpg?

Or perhaps you did not try to print the actual saved file? By default SPE ads the suffix "_PE" to a pictures name unless you type in other name. Look for you picture with that suffix see if that works.
