It seems this effect only works with the picture of the shells, or am I doing something wrong ?.

Hi Blackbird,

It seems that this was an effect that a user published in a unique way. The user seems to have overlayed an image of the shells, then published this effect with the shells overlayed as well. So their effect includes the shells as an image. As the effect is used less and less compared to the other effects in the gallery, the effect will drop down to the lower pages.
