how do I import new effects?

hello, just wondering how I get new effects? or are they automatically included when i start up?....thanks

Hi portchymac,

As users and Anthropics add more effects to SPE, they will be added to your software when the application downloads the effect gallery. You will see a Updating Effects Gallery progress bar when it does this automatically, but you can also force an update by going to File> Update Gallery.

You can see the new effects by enabling the Advanced gallery under File> Settings and going into the Gallery and selecting Latest.
