Crashing & resizing

Hi I have just downloaded the new version of smart photo editor 64 bit for windows & the whole screen has gone really, really to large I am unable to see or do much. I can't resize the program on the screen. The program before I upload was always keeps on crashing or freezing & restarting again, & It seems like if I do more than 2 stages of any type of editing this would happen, & I would lose everything I had done on my photos.
Which means I have to start all over again. Please advise.
