Hand writing from a photo

Hi all,

complete novice here, I am trying to lift some handwriting from a wedding photo, I just want the text only and I cant seem to do it. I want to be able to print it to transfer paper so it has to be basically just black with a transparent background...

Help please... its for my wedding anniversary on the 26/9

Unfortunately, your picture didn't upload, so I'm guessing a bit. However, if you've got dark writing on a whitish background and you want to end up with black writing on a completely flat white background:

Load your picture
Press Image Treatment
Try increasing the sliders in the Contrast section on the left (specifically the Contrast slider itself)

I'm guessing if you print onto transfer paper, white will not be printed and black will be black.
