Denoising & Sharpening

What is the secret to denoising and sharpening my pictures in Smart Photo? I have tried the tutorials and haven't been able to find anything. What am I missing?

You can find some effects that remove noise and sharpen images by opening the Effects Gallery and searching for "denoise" and "sharpen". I don't know how good they are for your purposes. Try them and see.
