Electric wires

I am new and trying to learn how to remove the electric wires from a pic and have follow the instruction given but am confused.. When I get to the end of the wire with the remove wire tool and double click and get off of the picture it still follows my curser around and the wire does not disappear. What am I missing??

Hi Betty,
Perhaps you aren't double clicking fast enough? Also you must be on the picture when you double click. Does that help?

Thank you ; Yes, it did help. But it still take several tries for it to work. I think I am getting the hang of it...
