Remove an object (towel) from picture

Hello,
I am new to this.
I was wondering if there was a way to remove a towel from a picture. I have a picture of my little girl on the beach, but she is sitting on a towel.

Hi there,
Depending on the surrounding image, you should be able to remove the towel reasonably easily using the erase tool. For example, if your daughter is on a sandy beach, the erase tool can be used to copy areas of the sand on top of the towel. You may have to play around with the software quite a bit to achieve the effect you want. Let us know how you get on with it.
