area split too not showing on screen

area split too not showing on screen

Hello all, On my screen the erase tool area does not show an "area split tool" I cannot find where it is in any help menu. It is part of the online tutorial, but the arrow just points to the erase tool? I do have a purchased version not a free trial. This seems to be an important tool for what I have been trying to do.....Please help!!

The area split tool only appears once there is an area to split. Draw an area to erase on the image and it should appear. Does that help?
