Smart Photo Editor Effect Competition: Terms & Conditions

The Smart Photo Editor Competition is now open, with a top prize of $500.

We are looking for created effects, showing off your best work using Smart Photo Editor.

The competition will close on the 15th May 2012.

The Prize

First Prize: $500 (to be paid via PayPal or Amazon.com vouchers)

The winning effect & images will be displayed in a new gallery on the Smart Photo Editor website and Facebook page, credited to the users who sent them in.

To enter, you must do two things:

- First, use the ‘Effects Creator’ in the software to create a great new effect and then hit the Publish button. Get help with this.
- Then, if you have bought the software, press the ‘Save Session’ button and email the resulting ".pe" file to photos@anthropics.com. If you are using the trial, you will not be able to save a session so instead please email us the original photo (without any effects applied), and the name of your published effect and your user name. Note: an easy way to email big files to us is to use the free yousendit.com service.

What kind of images/effects are we looking for?
Images should be high quality and be good for showing off your published effect. The best entries will show off the near infinite capabilities of Smart Photo Editor's Effect creator.

How many images can I submit?
For this competition you can submit as many entries as you like, but they will only be valid entries if they follow the requirements written above.

The legal bit

Please note that by submitting entries, you are giving Anthropics Technology Ltd (makers of Smart Photo Editor) full rights to use your original images and the images as altered by us, in our marketing and advertising, offline and online, in whatever way they see fit, subject to the photo(s) being prominently credited to you. This includes digitally processing the images and displaying both the original image and the processed version simultaneously. If you are not happy with these terms, please do not submit any images. Do ensure you only send images for which you own the copyright.
