Create a effect
Can someone teach me how to create a effect. Maybe I can post a picture of my favorite photographers work and you can tell me maybe how she came up with it.. however I thnk she uses photoshop but I know Smart Photo Editor is awesome too:)

There's a page to help you get started in creating an effect here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=240
We're also working on some videos to show how it's done.
If you post a picture of the kind of thing you're thinking of, then we can take a look.

Hi BritCarp,
I've just added an effect that does something like that, but you have to select the background. It will appear in a few days. You'll be able to find it and others like it under 'high key' in the 'light' section.

sweet!!!! Tony your the best :):):):) and im glad you made it because i opened up the link you sent me to "create effect" it looked like Chinese so I think that is going to take me a while to figure out! thanks again!!

Hi BritCarp,
Yes, it's called "High Key Background", and you have to have selected the background to get it. Go to File>Update Gallaries to make sure you have the latest version.
