Favourite Recent Shortlist

I have added a number of "Favourite Effects" over the last couple of years that I no longer use. Is there a way to edit the Favourite Recent Shortlist to remove those I no longer want to appear in the list?

Yes, there's a button in that dropout for editing the Favorite list. It's either a '<' pointing between the lists, or a button labeled 'Manage'.

Go to the favourites screen (the one that allows you to add a recently used effect to your favourites) and click on the < button between the two lists. You get a window allowing you to manage what's in your favourites. It's not obvious but it's there.
