SPE already supports RAW images. Just load one in the same way you would with any other image.

So I finally get my effects to work but noe SPE will not load RAW or .tiff files

What version do you have? It's shown in the About box. It's working for me in v1.21.12 and v1.21.13

SPE has added support to RAW.
However, I also met a new problem. I just installed SPE to edit my iPhone iOS 11 photos. I tried, but in vain.
It seems that there is a long way to go when I can direct enjoy my HEIC images without taking the aid of heic to jpg converter.
If SPE can identify all types of HEIC images without hassle and let me save it as "JPG" or other formats, everything will become better.
Anyway, I am looking forward to the further information in this aspect.
Hope there is concrete support for our iPhone users.
