Steaming Corners and Boarders

Hi... I take most of my images with a DLSR. And have used a variety of iPhone apps to edit and send my photos to Flickr.
Where I live, there is a Gothic and Steampunk event twice a year and I go along taking photos. One of my apps assists in making cool boarders. But it is very limited and there is a huge lose in quality on the saved image.

My request is a Steampunk Section. I need boarders and corner decorations. Both bold and delicate. Google Steampunk images for the sort of stuff. It is Sci-Fi fantasy set in Victorian England and uses lots of brass, cogs, pocket watches and all kinds of wierd and wonderful gizmos.

One feature we are considering adding to Spe is a tool for creating border effects. It wouldn't help with creating artwork for borders, which would still have to produced in a painting program like photoshop or illustrator, but it would assist in generalising artwork into a border effect. Who would be interested in something like that?

Hi,

I would be very interested in having more creativity for borders: perhaps sizing depth including bigger width at bottom for text; shadow capability; texture of border (pebbled effect, etc.); making the border have a beveled cut (make adjustable bevel-depth); have border color control (color picker or something to pick color from image, etc.). Having these border controls or effects would greatly expand the final work in SPE.
