command line version of SPE?
I would like to start SPE from other and own applications. Perhaps with a command line version:
smartphotoeditor.exe -effect -inputfile.tif -jpg85 -outputfile.jpg
-Mino
smartphotoeditor.exe -effect -inputfile.tif -jpg85 -outputfile.jpg
-Mino
Re: command line version of SPE?
Although we're unlikely to produce a command line version in the near future, a batch over effects rather than files might be possible, if it was something lots of people wanted. Is there any interest from other people in that piece of functionality?

Re: command line version of SPE?
Thanks for the reply. I think this is the unique selling point of SPE! With Smart Photo Editor you have immediately thousands of versions of an image. That's what SPE is famous for. Think of the workflow: the user now browses many many pages with interesting effects on the one image. Now the best are being shortlisted. Perhaps the user reviews the shortlist again to remove some of the effects. And then?
Of course, the user wants to output those top versions from the shortlist for final processing, archives, selection/rating tools and publishing. Therefore, I think it is very useful to output *all* the short listed files with a single click to *.tif or *.jpg or even both. This improves and shortens the workflow and makes other software (PPS, CEP etc.) eventually a thing of the past.
Speed is what I like about SPE!
