Batch Apply Effects, improvement?
I would like to suggest a small improvement of the Batch Apply Effect feature in SPE when possible.
I miss the option to choose, where to save my batch-photos, it's now standard in the same map as the original photos.
Second, I like to choose which suffix I give to my enhanced photos in the batchrun, it's now standard _pe.
With those changes, especially the last one, it is easier to manage the batch-photos.
As example of what I have in mind:
First I would run a batch Apply Effects with the effect 'High iso denoise/sharpen' and save those in a temp directory with a file-suffix _iso.
Second I would run a batch Apply Effects with the effect 'Denoise & sharpen details' and save those in a temp directory with a file-suffix _denoise.
When moving the photos, in the temp directory, back to the original location of the original photos, the following situation will occur:
IMG001.jpg
IMG001_iso.jpg
IMG001_denoise.jpg
IMG002.jpg
IMG002_iso.jpg
IMG002_denoise.jpg
..
Now I can view the photos in a photo viewer and see the original followed by the two with effects, now I can choose the one I like the most!
Especially with batch runs that wil make things much more easier, I think
Best regards, Arwin

Re: Batch Apply Effects, improvement?
Hi Arwin,
Many thanks for the suggestions. They do sound useful and quite straightforward to implement. Just to clarify, you are asking for two new features:
a) selecting which directory is used for the output of the batch processing. At the moment, it is always the same as the original.
b) selecting the suffix used for the new files.
Thanks,
])arren.
